  • Headtop (or mask) sold seperately, selected depending on application
  • Supplied individually (everything required is in the kit, except the headtop)

Sundström SR 500 EX Intrinsically Safe Powered Respirator

The SR 500 EX powered, air-purifying respirator fan has been specially adapted for use in an explosive atmosphere and is compatible with Sundström filters and headtops. The fan comes already equipped with filters, ensuring you have a constant flow of clean air flowing through the breathing hose to the respirator hood.

• Powered respirator fan unit suitable for use in explosive environments
• Supplied with an improved lithium-ion battery for extended battery life
• Provides a flow of 175-225L filtered air per minute
• Automatic control of airflow
• Visual/audible warning alarms when airflow is obstructed
• Display features symbols for various operating conditions
• Charges in approximately four hours
• Operating time of up to 12 hours
• Simple single-button controls starting, stopping and choice of operating conditions
• Compatible with following Sundström headtops: hoods SR 520, SR 530, SR 561, SR 562, SR 601, SR 602, face shield SR 540 EX, SR 570, helmet with visor SR 580 or full face mask SR 200
